She faces six counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance, said trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters. She was released on $5,000 bail shortly after her arrest. All the charges are felonies. Peters declined to release any further information about the case, saying police needed to protect the investigation. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee in the 2008 election, revealed during the campaign her 18-year-old daughter was pregnant and that Levi Johnston was the father. The two have said they plan to marry and Bristol Palin is due to give birth this weekend.

Oh come on...let them have their baby and pick out which trailor park they want to live in...probably the remote one so no one can smell them continuing in mom's meth business charles...maybe levi's mother was running her meth lab in sarah palin's church basement and that caused the fire...ya think?

Everyone has something going on in their lives at all times, why is it such a big deal, is she supposed to be perfect because she is in the public eye, and it is not like she has control over any of these issues, she did not go out and do them. I would like to see one mother who has total and complete control over their child. I happen to have a brother-in-law who has been in and out of jail and rehab for 20 years now, he is a drunk, who can't keep a job, he is a theif, he does drugs....so I am a bad person, unable to lead a good life...oh wait, I am a christian with 5 beautiful children whom I do not expect perfection, my husband fights for this country and we have a wonderful life...full of things we don't like and have no control over, you can like her or dislike her, but don't blame her for things out of control. Look around you the pregnancy rate for teens is sky high, oh and by the way I was pregnant when I was 17, so does that mean my mom was a terrible mother. Should she be punished by what my brother-in-law does? Please use some common sense, you have every right to not like her ideals, but why attack her personally?
