Would you do a "random vacation"?
One where you go to the airport and take the first flight out that meets your financial requirements (say, under $300 per ticket). You have no clue if you'll end up in Cleveland or LA or some tiny town in the middle of nowhere. You can pack some basics and also buy clothes you need when you get there, such as a winter jacket if you end up in Anchorage. You may stay in a Motel 6 or a cool B&B. The fun is not knowing and being resourceful. Does this kind of vacation appeal to you?

Anything that could get my husband out of town and away from work and his cell phone is appealing to me! We've taken road trips before and it's a lot of fun. You get to see a lot of things that you wouldn't just staying in your own city.
