Alaska Earthquake Near Fairbanks: Aftershocks Continues As 5.1 Magnitude Quake Rattled Alaska


On Aug. 13, the earthquake center said a light earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 rattled the state's Cook Inlet region. The quake was recorded at 10:04 p.m. Alaska time and was centered about 200 miles southwest of Anchorage at a depth of about 82 miles.
